Elements of Art/ Principles of Design
Line: sometimes known as "a moving point"
Shape: depicting objects and symbols
Texture: another element, like form or space, that can be real, created, or implied.
Value: lightness and darkness
Color: one of the shades on the UV spectrum
Volume/Form:external appearance of a clearly defined area, as distinguished from color or material
Design Principles
Balance: a state of equalized tension and equilibrium, which may not always be calm
Harmony:the combination of art and sustainability
Contrast:when two related elements are different
Movement: is the path our eyes follow when we look at a work of art. The purpose of movement is to create unity in the artwork with eye travel
Rhythm: showing consistency with colors or lines
